The TUM Venture Labs help you on your way to become a high-tech entrepreneur. Develop your start-up idea, find a strong team and step into the world of venturing. On your way of becoming a high-tech startup, you can take advantage of numerous offerings from TUM Venture Labs, independently on whether you are already working on a specific startup project or not. In the following you find an overview over the TUM Venture Lab cross-disciplinary offers provided in close cooperation with UnternehmerTUM.
We promote your personal development through entrepreneurial and professional skills and at the same time support you in developing a start-up idea. In a risk-free environment, you gain initial knowledge about the start-up scene while earning ECTS for your studies. Further, individual offers in the technical domains of the TUM Venture Labs can be found on the individual Venture Lab pages!
Outstanding founders, managers and investors covering a wide range of industries share their individual entrepreneurial journeys. They make the diversity of everyday entrepreneurial life, entrepreneurial personalities, skills and motivations tangible for the participants.

Experience hands-on interdisciplinary collaboration and develop a holistic high-tech prototype along real customer needs. The challenges you tackle as a team come directly from our industry partners or from academia.

Duration: 4 month
ECTS: Up to 6 ECTS, in degree programs

Learn how to gain customer and user insights, develop creative solution ideas and make them tangible with the help of social prototypes.
Start: 28th of April and 02 of June
Duration: 5 days
Develop a business idea in agile, iterative cycles with live feedback, develop a tested prototype and create a business plan.

Registration
Refine your business concept, prototype, and business plan. We support you with business model design, hypotheses testing, startup knowledge, feedback and expert advice. Be one of the selected, ambitious, and learning-avid teams who will have the opportunity to directly engage with industry experts and receive continuous feedback from the lecturers.

Do you have an idea and/or technology with market potential? Do you also meet social challenges and create added value? Then apply for the TUM IdeAward 2020.
The three most promising ideas for spinoffs out of science will be awarded and get the chance to win price money totalling € 37.500.
Manage and More is UnternehmerTUM's entrepreneurship scholarship. For three semesters, students are trained to become intra- and entrepreneurs and learn how to develop business ideas, shape innovation and develop their own leadership personality.

Combine academic excellence with entrepreneurial ambition: In the TUM Entrepreneurial Masterclass you dedicate your Master's thesis to your personal passion. While writing an excellent scientific thesis, you pursue your entrepreneurial ambitions and create real added value for society.
Start: Four batches per year with two possible start dates per semester.

The Technology Entrepreneurship Lab is a 3-month hands-on training program. It helps you learn coaching skills, sharpen your entrepreneurial understanding in different industries and strengthens your self-reflection and customer-centered, co-creative collaboration.

The Agile Team Lead is a 4.5-month training program. You learn project management and training skills by planning, organizing and delivering multiple business design sprints. Focus on: Management of innovation projects, Design Thinking, Teamwork. You will have the opportunity to directly apply what you have learned and to lead an interdisciplinary innovation project team.
