The beworm team is using bioagents to develop a biotic-biocatalytic recycling process that decomposes the petroleum-based material polyethylene, the most widely used plastic in the world.

FarmInsect is an agritech startup that enables farmers to produce their own sustainable protein feed.
In the EU, over 90% of protein feeds such as soy and fish meal have to be imported. This leads to burning rainforests and overfishing of the oceans with high CO2 emissions.

In grassland, weeds such as dock and ragwort cause high yield losses and even the death of cows and horses when they gain the upper hand in meadows and pastures. Since the EU organic regulation prohibits organic farmers from using herbicides, they have to resort to very labour- and time-intensive manual control. With our robots, we offer organic farmers the first automated herbicide-free alternative.

Solid-liquid-reactions hide behind different names, but you can find them almost everywhere: for example, in mass production of pharmaceuticals and vaccines, in the treatment of waste or drinking water, but also in the chemical and food industry. A fast, cheap, resource-efficient, simple, and easily scalable process would be convenient here. To achieve this with the highest possible mass transport it´s essential to use very small particles. We provide the solution for this with a revolutionary technology: the planetary rotating bed reactor.
